The Growatt BDC (Bidirectional DC/DC Box) controller is a device placed between the inverter and the battery. Its role is to monitor the charge state of the cells and balance them, i.e., charge each cell with the appropriate current and voltage. This device is essential for photovoltaic systems designed for energy storage, especially if the inverter lacks a built-in regulator. The BDC controller, designed for MIN TL-XH series inverters, supports 2-7 Growatt ARK-2.5H-A1 batteries.
